Join Temple Israel’s Caring Community for lunch and conversation with Rabbi Richard Address, who will lead a conversation about “the new Jewish older adult.” Rabbi Address is the Founder and Director of www.jewishsacredaging.com. Rabbi Address served for over three decades on staff of the Union for Reform Judaism. A major part of his work has been in the development and implementation of the project on Sacred Aging. This project has been responsible for creating awareness and resources for congregations on the implication of the emerging longevity revolution with growing emphasis on the aging of the baby boom generation. Rabbi Address will speak to our community about some of the issues that are now emerging among older, multi-generational cohorts: health care and entitlements, the growth and use of “spiritual capital” and the changes in Jewish life and practice being created by these cohorts.
