Voting is a mitzvah! The prophet Jeremiah wrote about the need to deeply engage in the society in which we live, and the Talmud takes that concept even further, obliging Jews to participate in the governmental process. In partnership with Vote Forward, we will be gathering as a community to write nonpartisan letters to potential voters, encouraging them to vote in the midterm elections and participate in the democratic process.
