Dear Families,

We are thrilled that you are applying to register your child at the Temple Israel Carol Schoke Early Childhood Center for 2026-27. Below please find all the information you need to submit your application. Please make sure to read through the information thoroughly and fill out all fields.

Please find the program offerings here. The tuition rates for the 2025-2026 school year can be found here. Tuition for 2026-2027 is confirmed in the spring alongside the Temple Israel budget cycle. We expect there to be a 3-5% increase this year. Tuition will be finalized in the spring.

As a membership organization, our fee schedule provides tuition discounts to Temple Israel members and the registration process grants early access to families of children currently enrolled in the ECC, Gan Katan, and Temple Israel members. In the event there are more applicants than available spaces, priority in placement and on the wait list will be granted to families of current ECC children and Temple Israel members in good standing. Registration is time stamped and will be determined upon date and time of registration receipt.

The first tuition payment is due by May 1, 2026. If you have any questions, please call the office at 203-227-1656.

By submitting this application I agree to the following:

1. I will submit one payment of $600 to Temple Israel with my application. $100 of the payment is the non-refundable/non-transferable application fee. $500 of this payment will be applied toward tuition.

2. If I choose not to enroll my child or if my child is not accepted into the program by Dec 12, 2025, only the $500 deposit will be refunded.

3. Once I have returned my signed copy of the letter of acceptance, my entire deposit becomes non-refundable/non-transferable.

4. If I do not return the signed acceptance letter by Dec 4, 2025, I understand my child’s placement will be jeopardized and possibly forfeited.

5. I understand that tuition for the 2026-27 school year will be established in the spring of 2026 by the Temple Israel Board of Trustees, at which time I will sign the payment contract.

6. I understand that if my child is admitted to the Temple Israel Early Childhood Center as a member of TI, I must maintain my membership in good standing.

7. I understand that enrollment one year does not guarantee enrollment the next. Furthermore, I understand that completion of this application does not guarantee enrollment.

8. If a child is withdrawn by the school, tuition will be adjusted to the date of such withdrawal.

9. Temple Israel reserves the right to cancel any class without penalty due to insufficient enrollment. If such a class is canceled, all fees will be refunded.

10. Each child’s immunization records and all required forms (Child Health, Allergy, Parent Handbook and Discipline Policy, Student Emergency, and Release Form) must be in compliance with the State of Connecticut guidelines. They must be submitted by August 2026.

11. There will be no tuition refunds for any reason, except as described above.
